Unable to Record on Mac Using Chrome
A generic screen recording error on Mac using Chrome
If the following 3 are applicable to you:
  1. 1.
    You are using a Mac.
  2. 2.
    Your are using Chrome.
  3. 3.
    You are unable to record (either webapp or extension) and are either getting an error that "screen recording was cancelled" or no message at all.
Please follow these steps:
  1. 1.
    On your Mac go to Settings Security & privacyScreen Sharing.
  2. 2.
    Check off the Google Chrome box and then check it back on.
  3. 3.
    Relaunch Chrome (it will ask to as well).
Recording should now work.
